Every year, the five jazz departments of the Swiss music universities present the joint All Stars project under the DKSJ label. An international personality is invited to rehearse intensively for three days with a group of students - drawn from all five universities - and to play this program immediately afterwards at BeJazz as well as in Basel, Lucerne, Lausanne and Zurich. This year's guest artist for the DKSJ All Star Ensemble is the Dutch saxophonist and composer Tineke Postma.

Postma is known for an innovative approach to jazz and the ability to seamlessly combine traditional and modern elements. In the early 2000s, she quickly established herself as a prominent figure in the European jazz scene. Throughout her career, Tineke Postma has released numerous critically acclaimed albums showcasing her virtuosity and unique voice as a saxophonist. Her compositions often feature a mix of melodic beauty and complex improvisation and have earned her a loyal following among jazz fans worldwide.
